I wrote an entire blog on my friends, and another entire one on Japan, but blogger deleted both of them. I'm not going to rewrite them because my friend one is just me whining like a little kid, and I have a feeling my Japan one is going to offend some people. Anyways, today, 40 minutes of school left, I go upstairs and see Ms. Charlie the Unicorn's backpack just sitting in front of her locker. I brush it off, and make a mental note to laugh at her for forgetting to put it back when I see her. She comes upstairs, and laughs at it too, when I suddenly realize something. I tell her to check for everything and make sure she has everything that belongs to her, and she opens her wallet and it's all empty.
Just then, my old seventh grade teacher comes up and starts lecturing her about organizing her locker. The girl just got thieved, and the teacher doesn't even care. Finally she leaves, and Charlie the Unicorn goes to the office, and I go with her.
She lost her lunch check, phone and money, yet she doesn't know exactly how much money was in her wallet. Her lunch check is fine; it can only be cashed in at lunch, and all they had to do was warn them to not take any lunch check with her mom's signature on it. She later found the lunch check in her backpack, buried.
Her phone comes in later; someone says that they found it in the bathroom. It was a relief; she was crying. But there's nothing we can really do about the money. Anybody could have over $100. You don't have proof. I told her to get those finger print things, and sprinkle it on her wallet, but she says it's not worth it.
But really. Without that, she has no proof.
I don't know why I'm worried about her so much. She was laughing at me at lunch again. I guess that's what all jerks do; stick their noses in to other people's business.
